UK Pricing Provides Sterling Service

Fri, 04/13/2012 - 12:31 -- Anonymous (not verified)

Greetings Capsuleers,

I’m CCP Garlakadl, the producer responsible for CCP’s billing and account management team, and I’m writing to share the great new pricing options we have for our UK players.

As announced by CCP Unifex at Fanfest, our UK players will finally be able to pay for their game time and services using pounds sterling (GBP). This change will take effect on May 1st, 2012 with the following pricing options available:

NVIDIA Video Card for PLEX Offer

Thu, 04/12/2012 - 18:20 -- Anonymous (not verified)

If you were attending Fanfest 2012 or watching the live stream, you may remember the graphics technology section of the CCP Presents! keynote, with our partners NVIDIA, and the stunning possibilities for future developments of EVE’s look and feel. As well as presenting an amazing demonstration of new technology in the field, Halldor Fannar (CCP CTO) and Tony Tamasi (NVIDIA Senior Vice President Content and Technology) announced a unique special offer enabling the exchange of PLEX for the GeForce GTX 560 NVIDIA video card.

Carebearing 2.0

Tue, 04/10/2012 - 02:00 -- Anonymous (not verified)

I’m CCP Affinity from Team Five 0 and it’s time for another PvE update!

In 2011, CCP Bettik decided to make it his personal mission to fill in the gaps in deadspace content.  In Crucible 1.5, released on 13th March 2012, he added 3 more deadspace sites, bringing us to a point where we now have all 1/10 to 10/10 pirate deadspace sites in game, bringing this project close to completion.  There is a lot of money to be made from Deadspace loot and through this project we’ve introduced a number of previously unavailable modules for you to use or sell.

Changes to War Mechanics

Thu, 03/29/2012 - 17:31 -- Anonymous (not verified)

Hello capsuleers,

The main feature work for Team Super Friends for Inferno is redesigning the War Declaration system (you know, Inferno being war themed and all). We’ve already made great progress (which I will outline below), but as Inferno is slated for May, we still have a way to go. This means that there will be some speculations and ifs and buts in here, as it remains to be seen how far we can take this for now.

The 2012 Alliance Panel at Fanfest

Wed, 03/28/2012 - 02:00 -- Anonymous (not verified)

We just had the most successful EVE Fanfest ever, where the players hugged and the high fives flew--and where a player in EVE Online bombarded a squad of mercenaries on a planet in the same universe but on a different game platform in real time with coordination from a DUST 514 player opposing them.

But this isn’t about that. There will be more about that later.

This is about the events surrounding the Alliance Panel Presentation, which was streamed live over the free and HD EVETV broadcast of Fanfest. It is also about introspection.

Alliance Panel at Fanfest 2012: The Conclusion

Wed, 03/28/2012 - 02:00 -- Anonymous (not verified)

As some of you might have heard, one of the Alliance leaders speaking at the Alliance Panel during EVE Fanfest 2012 breached our EULA/TOS with some ill-advised remarks about a fellow EVE player. It goes without saying that CCP deeply regrets this incident and will work towards reducing any possibility of this happening again in the future.

Hi, my name is CCP Shiny and I am writing on behalf of Team Stonehenge to bring you the latest updates for our localized clients. But if you are playing on the English client, you may want to read on, too, because there is a goodie hidden in there for you as well.
